ALARP Certification

Once the Target Investigation, Identification and Relocation or Disposal process has been successfully completed, EODEX will issue an 'As Low As Reasonably Practicable' (ALARP) certificate.

This acts as written confirmation that the seabed is clear of UXOs and major items of debris and that the cost of any further investigative work far exceeds the associated benefit.

The ALARP certificate will allow the subsequent construction and installation works to commence on the project. EODEX is often retained as a UXO consultant to provide expertise throughout the construction phase.
